The team at the residence where mom is are wonderful. They are always smiling, call everyone by their name miss so and so or mr so and so, and the care team communicates with families better than I could have anticipated. There are always the folks that go the extra mile and I always feel extra good when I know Lily and Unique are on duty. These two young women are wonderful, compassionate, attentive, and I appreciate them greatly. One is finishing up her nursing studies and this world will be a better place with her in our healthcare system. Giving a shout out to Lily and Unique feels inadequate… I am sure the pay is low, the hours are long and the work is mentally and physically demanding… but they show up and for that I am grateful.
